Damien Mahoney of Caulbearers has been producing some tracks for a new EP by singer-songwriter Ruth Blake. The pair previously teamed up for Ruth’s single Brave Ships (2021) and Somerset-based artist Blake has also contributed guest vocals for many Caulbearers recordings in recent times.
The pictures below are from a recent session at Mahoney’s home studio space with guitarist Anton Hunter (Beats & Pieces Big Band, Sloth Racket) and keys player Liviu Gheorghe (Elf Traps, Paltin). Other musicians featured on these tracks include Nicholas Malin on bass and Howard Jacobs (Beth Gibbons) on drums. Dream team!!
